Beginner hikers


1: At less than a half-mile long, the Top of the World trail near Jackson Hole properties is a short route perfect for those who want to fit in a 10 to 20-minute hike when pressed for time. The trail can be accessed from the Jackson Mountain Resort Aerial Tram landing. After you finish your hike, visit the Corbet Cabin restaurant for a waffle that shares the name of this trail! The whole family can tackle the trail, though the high altitude may be difficult for some.

2: The Lower Faces Loop is especially popular with local trail-running residents of Jackson Hole real estate. It covers over 3 miles with minimal elevation changes and should take most hikers only an hour or two to complete. This is an especially popular trail in the fall for the stunning display of autumn leaves and in the summer for the wildflowers.

3: The Seven Bridges Trail is a favorite with hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers. Although it covers less than a mile, it's a fun trek from the Teewinot chairlift to the Union Pass chairlift's top landing. You'll encounter several creeks, streams, and wooden bridges for which the trail is named. The hike should take less than 2 hours.

Experienced hikers


4: The Casper Ridge Loop near Jackson Hole real estate starts and ends at the Bridger Gondola. Locals enjoy this hike at sunset due to the phenomenal views of the valley. Although the loop is less than 2 miles, it is considered moderate difficulty, and hikers should plan on spending approximately 2 hours on the trail.


5: The Wildflower Trail is an 8-mile out and back trail easily accessible from all Jackson Hole properties that routinely takes over 5 hours to complete. It's a very popular hike, so you are sure to encounter other folks enjoying the trail as well. The trail is best enjoyed from late spring to mid-fall. Be sure to stop at the top of the trail near Bridger Gondola to enjoy a meal before taking the gondola back down or retracing your steps to complete the entire 8 miles. You may encounter wildlife along this trek, so be prepared for moose and bear sightings.

6: The Rock Springs Loop starts at the Rendezvous Mountain summit, which can be reached from the Aerial Tram landing. The loop covers 4.2 miles downhill, with an elevation drop of 1000 feet. The trek is easy to moderate and takes approximately 3 hours for experienced hikers. When you tackle this hike, you’ll be treated to an incredible view of a wildflower meadow and local wildlife like moose, deer, pikas, and even bears. Be sure you know what to do if you run into a bear.

7: The Marion Lake Hike near Jackson Hole properties is moderately difficult. To reach the trailhead, take the Aerial Tram from Teton Village to the Rendezvous Mountain Summit and follow the service road on the left. The hike covers 12.5 miles on an out and back trail. Be prepared for approximately 7 hours or more and an elevation change of over 4000 feet. Although the hike is challenging, you'll have the chance to see wildflowers, wildlife, and the Teton Mountain Range. Locals recommend trying this trail in late July for the best wildflower viewing.

8: The Granite Canyon hike near Jackson Hole real estate is rated as easy to moderate, but we've classified it for experienced hikers due to the trail's length. The one-way trail covers 12.4 miles heading downhill, with a change of 4100 feet. The trek takes approximately six or more hours, but you'll enjoy waterfalls, wildflower meadows, and wildlife viewing.

9: The Summit Trail near Jackson Hole properties starts at the top of Rendezvous Mountain and heads down to its base. Although the trail is just shy of 7.5 miles long, it is considered better for experienced hikers due to the steepness and gravel road, which can make it quite the challenge for less experienced hikers. If you do tackle this trail, note that you can grab a refreshment at The Deck around the mid-way point before heading further down the mountain. You'll be treated to stunning valley views, so this trail is definitely worth the trek

10: The Cirque Trail near Jackson Hole real estate is best tackled in the summer or early fall and takes about half a day to complete. The trail is rather narrow and is impressively steep in a few areas. The hike is only 2.5 miles, but it does have a class 2 section toward the end of the rocky skirting below Corbet's Rock. You'll be treated to fantastic views of Teton Village as you travel from Corbet's Cabin to the gondola house, where you can choose to take the gondola down or continue your hike along the nearby dirt service road.

11: The Teton Crest Trail near Jackson Hole properties is a multi-day endeavor covering 40 miles, with most hikers tracking from the Phillips Pass trailhead to the String Lakes trailhead. The trail cuts through Bridgerton-Teton National Forest, Grand Teton National Park, and Jedediah Smith Wilderness and offers views of the Death Canyon Shelf, Cathedral Group, and Snowdrift Lake. The trail usually takes up to five days to complete, and locals recommend tackling it in late summer.
